The Foster Alliance Back-to-School Initiative
The Foster Alliance is excited to continue to provide new backpacks with grade-appropriate school supplies to children in foster care entering Preschool through High School. Additionally, foster families with children in foster care can shop for school-appropriate clothing; sizes and colors cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY
We are so excited to share everything you need to know about Back-to-School season at The Foster Alliance. In addition to the backpacks and school supplies given out at the TFA resource center, we will also be doing our first-ever pop-up shops with our new mobile unit for foster families across the state!
What’s Inside
Each backpack given out by The Foster Alliance this Back-to-School season will include all of the supplies children need to start the school year off right! In addition to the “starter kit” each child will receive, we will also have other age-appropriate school supplies available.
Beginning July 13th through August, the The Foster Alliance resource center will include backpacks and school supplies in our shopping experience. Foster families and advocates are welcome to come in anytime during our shopping hours to receive a backpack and school supplies for the child(ren) in their care. Foster families that haven’t shopped for basic needs in the last 30 days can also shop for clothing; sizes and colors cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate.
Throughout the month of July, we will be doing Back-to-School Pop-Up shops across the state for foster families who don’t have the ability to come to the TFA resource center. Let us know which pop-up you’re coming to at the link below! The exact location and time coming soon!
