Back To School Drive

The Back-to-School Essentials Drive

Your Complete Guide to Supporting Children in Foster Care for Back-to-School

For foster children, the nerves of starting a new school year are about more than having a cool backpack. Many are going to a new school, in a new town, and living with a new family. Foster children deserve to walk through the hall on their first day feeling like themselves- not worried about anyone seeing them as “foster kids.”

Foster parents spoke loud and clear! This year’s Back-to-School Drive goes beyond supplies (think backpacks, pencils) to include clothes and shoes for Pre-K to 12th graders. Help us stock the shelves!

We know, back-to-school shopping is also about giving the special kids in your life those outfits to help them feel confident on their first day of school. This is your chance to add a foster child’s needs to your shopping list this year.

Donate

We will not be able to reach our goal to serve every child in foster care who needs us with collection drives alone. Kids in foster care, from tiny tots to young adults, need more than just pencils! Your donation helps us bridge the gap and get them everything they need to rock their first day of school.
