The Foster Alliance Announces New President and Chief Executive Officer
Maureen Noe will lead the states largest provider of essential needs to children in foster care.
After a nationwide search, the The Foster Alliance (TFA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce they have hired Maureen Noe as the new President and CEO. With more than 25 years of non-profit leadership and management experience, Maureen will help the organization as it innovates to expand and meet the ever-changing needs of the foster care community.
Jay R. Spector, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, “After an extensive local and national search, Maureen Noe shined above the rest. She is the right leader at the right time and will work with the Board to take our organization to new heights. We are excited to have her step into this role, providing leadership and vision to the talented staff, volunteers, and supporters as we execute our mission.”
After more than 28 years with the United Way network, Maureen is excited to return to a direct service mission-driven organization whose impact is life-changing for those in the community. The mission of TFA is close to Maureen’s heart as her parents were foster parents and adopted her older brother, reminding Maureen that every child deserves hope.
Maureen shared, “I am forever grateful to the The Foster Alliance Board of Directors, professional staff, dedicated volunteers, and loyal donors for all you have done for children in foster care and their families. I look forward to imagining the possibilities of what else we can accomplish together.”
With more than 14,000 children in Arizona’s foster care system, kinship and foster families rely on the support and essential items from TFA, including beds, cribs, linens, clothing, diapers, hygiene items, birthday packages, and much more. TFA is able to provide these services at no cost to children in foster care and their families, thanks to the long-standing support of the community. Together, with their volunteers, donors, corporate and community partners, TFA will serve more than 4,000 children in foster care through their programs each year.
