Arizona Residents, you can make a difference at no out-of-pocket cost
Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit
Arizona’s Foster Care Tax Credit allows you to support children in foster care at no net cost to you. When you give, you receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state income taxes – this is more valuable than a deduction.
You can make a qualifying gift to The Foster Alliance anytime through April 15, 2026, and claim it on your 2025 Arizona tax return.
Maximum Credit Amounts:
- Individual: $618 (2025 tax season) | $632 (2026 tax season)
- Married Filing Jointly: $1,234 (2025 tax season) | $1,262 (2026 tax season)

Together, we’re creating moments that remind children they’re seen, valued, and never alone. The Foster Alliance (TFA) is the largest provider of essential services for children in foster care in Arizona, New Mexico, and beyond. In 2025, we expanded our services at the Phoenix Resource Center, opened a new location in Flagstaff, and sent two mobile units on the road thanks to our generous donors and funding partners. Now, we can support foster children where they need us, when they need us.
